Boon Vat 110 Monoblend is a geuze containing lambic from foeder #110 brewed on April 16, 2014, and bottled on December 15, 2016. It was released in 375ml bottles and is labeled as 8% ABV. It was released in a “Geuze Discovery Box” along with bottles of Vat 91 Monoblend, Vat 92 Monoblend, and Vat 108 Monoblend, and a tasting manual.
(1) Kriek Boon 375ML
Lambic – Kriek : Kriek Boon is a traditional Belgian Lambic fruit-beer. It is brewed according to the traditional Lambic style of spontaneous fermentation. Only fresh cherries (25%) are used. Kriek Boon is slightly sweet, with the surprising natural fragrance of sourcherries and almonds. With only 4% of alcohol it is a perfect summer beer. 4% ABV
(1) Geuze Mariage Parfait 375ML
Lambic – Gueuze: Boon Geuze Mariage Parfait is one of the finest examples of the traditional 100% spontaneous fermentation Lambic style. To moderate the sourness, Boon Brewery only brews Lambic in the 7 cold months, from early October until April, according to the traditional “turbid mash” system. This Lambic beer is brewed from 40% unmalted wheat, 60% of barleymalt, aged hops and wild yeasts collected from our coolship and aged for at least 3 years in oak casks (foudres). Then the Lambic beer is blended with 5% of a mild young Lambic to generate the sparking. Unsweetened, unfiltered, unpasteurized, it referments in the bottle and can be stored up to 20 years. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name. 8% ABV
(1) Framboise Boon 375ML
Framboise Boon is a traditional Belgian Lambic fruit-beer. It is brewed according to the traditional Lambic style of spontaneous fermentation. Only fresh raspberries (25%) and wild cherries (5%)are used for this Lambic beer. Framboise Boon is the missing link between beer and wine and is served chilled in flute glasses. NO artificial sweeteners, flavorings, preservatives or coloring agents. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.
(1) Schaarbeekse Kriek Boon 375ML
Lambic – Kriek : Oude Kriek Boon is one of the finest examples of the 100% spontaneous fermentation fruit-Lambic style. 400 g of wild cherries per litre are fermented together with a blend of young and old Boon Lambic that has been aged in oak casks. After clarification, the Oude kriek is kegged and refermented. It is unsweetened, unfiltered, unpasteurised and has no artificial flavorings, preservatives or colorings added. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name. Pour slowly in a flute glass. This Schaarbeekse cherry is a variety tart-acidic cherry which was unique to the Lambic Region that was always used for Kriek. The supply decreased substantially over the years and became less common for use in fruit lambic. So to make a Kriek with these cherries is to be truly “Traditional.” 6.5% ABV
